The story of this $70,000 multitasking formula began in April 2021, after Farah embarked on the journey of motherhood. 


Like all new moms, she was experiencing and learning many new things for the first time.


From taking care of her newborn... to navigating postpartum... to figuring out the new “her”... to not having the time to take care of her new self.

She was going through a lot of stress.

With all the changes and heightened level of stress, Farah also noticed her skin completely change. It became dry, flaky, textured, and dull. With the little time she had to herself, she chose sleep, over keeping up with her long, multi-step skincare routine. 

Farah wished she could combine all her products into just one, that would do it all: brighten, smooth, firm, and restore her skin barrier, while being suitable for breastfeeding.

Farah expressed her frustration to Sal and asked him if it was possible to combine all of the products in her lengthy skincare routine into one. To which Sal replied, "Don't worry babe... I know some of the best chemists in the industry. We'll figure it out!"

Little did Sal know that this assignment from his wife would end up costing over $70,000!

Farah's $339 routine

Sal started by identifying the key active ingredients in Farah's skincare routine. 

She had a $339 routine consisting of the following products:

The main actives in Farah's routine were Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Lactic Acid, Peptides, and Ceramides (fatty acids)... but could they be combined together into one formula and offer all of their benefits? 

That was Sal's assignment!

why it has never been done before

After speaking to several chemists, Sal was told that this blend of actives was very challenging to stabilize together. 

This formula needed to be gentle enough for 2x daily use. 

The problem was, each of the active ingredients perform differently at varying pH levels, and when combined, they can have adverse reactions depending on the concentration levels. According to the chemists, this has never been done before!

This explained why Farah's routine required multiple products.

20+ versions later...

Little did Sal know how complicated this formula would be to develop. It took several months of research and development. 

The first version of the formula was submitted by the chemists in October 2021.

It was a start... but it was nowhere near perfect!


After consulting with many different chemists, going through several stability tests, and testing over 20 different versions…

The final formula was ready in May 2022.

It was finally time for Farah to test out the formula for 30 days straight, which was documented in real-time on the Instagram page @farsalirevival.

Day 1: damaged skin barrier

Farah's skin barrier was visibly damaged from all the stress and neglect to her skin.

Farah's skin started purging

Within the first few days of testing, Farah started seeing small red bumps and white-heads. Her skin started purging.

This was due to Vitamin C and Lactic Acid working together to speed up skin renewal.

Unlike breakouts, purging doesn’t last as long. In Farah's case, the red bumps and white-heads typically went away within a day or two, and came back in different areas. 


The overall purging phase can last up to 6 weeks (varying from person to person).

Her skin was still purging, but it began feeling firmer and her pores appeared minimized.

By the 30th night, Farah had a significantly brighter, smoother, firmer, and restored skin barrier. 

She noticed visible improvement in hyperpigmentation on her cheeks. Her skin was better than ever!

$70,000 later she threw a curveball

Sal excitedly ordered 10,000 bottles for production, after seeing the amazing transformation on Farah's skin


By this point $70,000 was already invested into the research, development, and safety testing of this product...

Then Farah changed her mind...

She told Sal that she wanted this product in a jar, because it was even faster for her to get all of the product out. Sal explained that not only did he order 10,000 bottles already, but this would require a reformulation to update the consistency, and require additional stability and safety testing. It would take several more months to update the formula.


Initially Farah wanted to wait, but after not using the product for 1 week...

she did not want to wait any longer, because in her own words, she couldn't live without this product for a single day!

WHAT IT IS: A breakthrough multifunctional serum, loaded with an unprecedented blend of clinically proven actives to help visibly brighten, firm, smooth and restore a youthful skin barrier. With multiple benefits from THD Ascorbate (a stable form of vitamin C) and Niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3), this dynamic duo targets hyperpigmentation and promotes brighter looking skin. NIACINAMIDE: A form of vitamin B3. This versatile ingredient helps improve skin texture, minimizes the appearance of pores, while exhibiting anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. It also inhibits free radial formation, making it a great anti-oxidant.

LACTIC ACID: A gentle concentration of this alpha hydroxy acid (suitable for 2x daily use) has been added to this formula to enhance skin penetration of active ingredients, while offering mild exfoliation, reduced pigmentation and an overall smoother skin texture.

10 PEPTIDES: A custom blend of ten peptides helps moisturize and plump, to give the skin a firmer look. Peptides are the building blocks that support collagen production. After age thirty, we lose 1% of our remaining collagen per year. 

5 CERAMIDES: An essential blend of five ceramides (fatty acids) help maintain and restore the skin barrier. Ceramides are naturally found in our skin, and often referred to as the "glue" that holds our skin cells together. By age thirty almost 40% of our skin's ceramides are naturally depleted, making fatty acids essential to help reinforce the skin barrier.

Rest Renewal Fluid Cream

Since I have started this Product (less than a month) my skin has a glow and eveness. People think I’m using a brightener, but it’s just the tone and glow of the skin!!! I love it!!!
